Jupiter Expansion
The Jovian Empire and a powerful pirate alliance clash around Jupiter. Fight on and around the moons of Ganymede, Europa, Io and on the great gas giant Jupiter itself. Nearly doubling the content of the release, Jupiter offers new weapons, defenses, mods, and special abilities, as well as six new ships - each with unique abilities and gear slot configurations.
Along with the new equipment, new challenges await - several new hazards, enemy mercenaries, and new mission types await. As always, the higher the risk, the greater the reward.

Balance Changes:
Weapons:
Electric Pulse Cannon - now reduces damage per enemy hit and eventually fizzles out
Pulsar Cannon - Increased fire rate, now does area of effect explosion damage
Volatile Shielding - Now stacks and increases radius depending on rarity
Shield Phasing - Percentage of phased shield will not completely resist EMP hazards and solar storms (Mercury)
Hazards:
Meteors - Significantly increased meteor storm amount and damage
Merc+ - Capped mercenaries that can spawn at 3
Enemies:
Mercenaries - Overhauled health system so they're not quite as "beefy" until very late game
Mercenary ability - shield zap - Now does a better damage calculation instead of using merc shield (which frequently could one-shot the player if the merc had very high shields)
Fixes:
Special items are now sellable in the store
Improved & overhauled beam weapon impact detection
Resolved issue where more mercs would appear than intended
Fixed transparency issue on some mercenary ships
Tweaked some audio effects that were louder than intended
Special calibrated filter on inventory fixed
Fixed rewards for endless missions
Fixed weapons fire occasionally disappearing from the screen
Fixed visual glitch on mission stats space station doors where doors were backwards
Resolved issue where enemy mercenary would have stages ability but wouldn't switch sets until at very low health
Double tap to launch special - behavior improved
Koala fire rate ship special fires all weapons immediately instead of waiting for cooldown then applying new fire rate
Fixed variety of bugs for the Raven ship special
Added various optimizations and stability improvements
